It sounds like your experience was a great one! Was the play A Midsummer Night's Dream? I myself have portrayed the Lion in a class excercise, but alas acting is not my strong suit. Nice job here, thanks!

Your response as an audience member sounds very positive, and I certainly wish that I had seen the play as well! Your insight regarding the lighting is very telling; this is an important element to watch for in film as well. Nice work here!

It sounds like this production was fun for both audience and cast, which spells certain success. Your story of overcoming nervousness gives me hope for the future: I will be in a performance this semester, and am quite stressed about it! Thanks for sharing this experience; I enjoyed it!

You make a very important point here: the notion of music as a powerful performance in itelf is a vital one, as Ana Christina suggested in her essay on Phantom of the Opera. This idea will become even more apparent when we look at comic opera and film. Great job!
