_Absurd Person Singular_ due 14 November

Sorry I was late in posting the blog space; time got away from me! This, from a theatrical review by Nigel Munro-Wallis, for 612 ABC Brisbane:
"In Absurd Person Singular we have a rather typical British farce that, on the surface at least, has much in common with many others of its era, with comments about snobbery, infidelity and social mobility abounding. However, in this particularly well-written piece there is also a strong undercurrent of social comment that manifests itself primarily in the increasingly apparent unpleasantness of the characters and the cruelty and dislocation of their words and actions. This, coupled with the character’s[sic] obvious loneliness and dissociation from one another makes for a play that, upon analysis and reflection, says considerably more that is apparent at first glance."
